In the story Stone Soup the monks were searching for what makes one happy. Do you think the monks found happiness or helped create happiness? Please explain your thinking.

Yes I did think that the monks made happiness by the little girl helping the monks make the soup and the villagers saw that the girl was helping the strangers so everybody started to help so the soup was making everybody happy.savannah
Yes they made happiness by making the soup and when the girl came to help them make the soup the people came out and they were not afraid and they made the soup all together and put ingredints in the soup.Bre,shayla
Yes I did think that the Monks found happiness.But the Monks felt a little left out when they knocked on all the doors in the village.But whenthey started making the soup the little girl came out and the Monks needed a bigger bowl.So when everybody came out of their houses they brouht some stuff to put in the soup.Pearl

Dear Mrs.Jones yes I did think they found happieness because first they were all afraid of the monks but then just from one little girl they all started helping them make the soup and the more the people helped the more ingredients there were and the better it smells and tasted so everyone gatherd together and ate together again and people talk to each other and the monks.Rebecca
I THINK IT WAS A WONDERFUL BOOK.WHEN THEY SAW THE GIRL,WAS GOING TO HELP THEM MAKE THE STONE SOUP,THEY HSD A SMALL POT,SHE SAID"MY MOTHER HAS A BIGGER POT".THEN,SHE ASKED A LADY IN THE BACK,IF SHE COULD HAVE SOME CARROTS.EVERYBODY SAW THE LITTLE GIRL WAS HELPING THE MONKS.THEN THEY SAW THEY WEREN'T BAD,THEN ERERYBODY CAME WITH INGREDINTS TO HELP WITH THE STONE SOUP.ERIK

yes i do think the monks create happines by making soup and more people came and put more typs of food and the monks served food for them and the people who locked the doors and shut of the lights they thought the monks were strangers so in every house the people did the same thing over and over and over and over again! so finily the people opened the doors and they finily opened the lights so ther made soup all togather and did that more often
people travel the montens and reach the village and everybody at the village locked their houses and the travlers make stone soup and add more in the pot.
